Distaster relief for Flood in Peru

Donation protected
Dear friends,

I am sure that many of you have already heard of the disaster floods happening all over Peru, if not here is the most recent Article from CBC about it. Over 60.000 people have been affected by these ongoing disasters and there is no end in sight.
Even though these images are horrible it's not even close to the actual reality, noone knows yet how big the damages to my country have been and how long it will take to rebuild those thousands of homes, streets and bridges.

Here is one of the many news reports with footage that is going around the world.

All of Peru is trying to unite and gather as many goods such as water, diapers, clothes and food to send where it is most needed but things aren't looking good. The shopping centers (Walmart like) are running short on drinking water, the water and energy supply have been cancelled in some parts of the country for several days now.

Even some hospitals have had to cancel surgeries because of a lack of water, catheters, plasters, gauzes or even basic drugs essential for a doctor to perform his or her duties. Some of the utensils they have are being "re-sterilized" to at least have something to use.
Disclosure: This isn't something caused by the floods, this is the way things have been operating due to a general lack of funds, things are being done to change this, but it isn't happening quickly enough. Here the article (I'm sorry it's in spanish)

So I reach out to you for further help, every dollar counts and every help is greatly appreciated.

The donations will be redirected to organizations such as The Red CrossTeleton, Techo or will serve to buy what ever is needed and given directly to those in need by the Peruvian Army. You get to choose! Comment where you want it to go or what should be done with it.
Full accountability will be given on this Gofundme page.

My intention is to gather funds from outside the country to be able to further support my endeavors in assisting my fellow countrymen.
As for what we are doing so far is: collecting goods, purchasing goods from what ever funds we have and sharing the water that we have stored in our plant with our fellow neighbours who aren't as lucky to have such a water reservoir. We are also in the process of setting up a 8kW generator (diesel powered) to supply electricity, but as you might realize our funds only go so far...
