Django Fund

Hello.  I am a friend of Lola Webber’s.  I have three Korean dog meat farm dogs that she played a large part in rescuing.  If anyone knows Lola, you’ll know how she works tiredlessly for the animals with her work in Change for Animals Foundation and the Humane Society International.  Her own dog, Django, was himself rescued off a dog meat farm in S. Korea through her work, and he has since lived a wonderful life with her and her daughter in Bali.  He is the first and only dog ambassador of her organization, CFAF.  I just got word that Django has had a leg amputated due to an aggressive bone cancer.  He has made it out of surgery and will be home soon, but the next step is the healing process as well as possibly chemo therapy.  As animal lovers know, owning an animal is not cheap.  I decided to put this GoFundMe together for Lola to help.  When I spoke to her about it, she said that she would do what it takes herself, even if it means selling her stuff or getting another job and would prefer people donate to other causes.  That’s the type of person Lola is. But I feel strongly that it’s okay to accept help especially when all you’ve done your life is help others.  I hope you can donate whatever amount you can to help Django and Lola.  I’d rather her spend her time working to save more animals around the world and having a nice home to come home to at the end of the day rather than working another job and selling off stuff.  And as for Django...he was destined to be eaten but was saved and is a representation of the kind of life that all dogs and animals deserve.  Part of that is that they receive medical care and given the chance to have the best possible health they can.  I will collect the funds and transfer it all to Lola.
