Bowen family medical relief fund

Donation protected
Friends, On Monday, February 22, 2016 we came close to losing a great friend, husband, son and new dad, DJ Bowen. My name is Matt Flynn and I have the pleasure of working side by side with DJ's loving wife Shana. I have put this page together in hopes of raising enough money for the Bowen's to take care of upcoming hospital bills and to help out with everyday expensives of caring for DJ  so Shana and her family can focus on giving DJ and their beautiful 3 month old miracle baby Miss Allie Mae (born November 13, 2015) the attention they need without the burding of worrying  about bills. So I hope that everyone  this reaches will join me in showing this family love with some kind words of encouragement and donate to this fund to help out a deserving family in need.

DJ had been feeling ill for several months and was being treated for pneumonia. On the afternoon of Monday February 22, 2016 DJ was rushed to Roper hospital in Mt pleasant with stroke like symptoms. The diagnosis was blood on his brain. He was then transfered to  the Medical University of South Carolina and was then diagnosed with a brain aneurysm that needed immediate attention so they decided to  perform the surgery to repair the aneurysm on the morning of Tuesday February 23 2016. That surgery went well but his problems did not end there.  At the age of nine  DJ was diagnosed with heart problems and now at the young age of 28 his heart was failing.  He developed a bacterial infection on his heart and the bacteria broke loose through the failed aortic valve and reached his brain causing the aneurysm. In the best interest of DJ's health open heart surgery was performed on the morning of February 25 2016 to replace his failed aortic valve.
I am happy to report the DJ's surgery's went very well and the doctors expect a full recovery but DJ, Shana and the entire Bowen and McCormack family's  have been through alot this week. They have a long road to recovery that not many of us could even begin to imagine and could use  our help with relieving some of the pressure and stress during these trying times that life has put in front of them.  As  DJ is on his road to recovery updates will be added.  Thank You to everyone for taking the time to read this.
