Building Communities One Book at a Time
Hello, we are students from Keystone College, a small liberal arts college in Northeastern Pennsylvania. With the help of two of our professors, we started a book club with the Community Intervention Center, a daytime drop in center for homeless clients. We volunteer our time each week to read and discuss poems and short stories. Currently we are photocopying these stories and poems because we can't afford to buy books. Our hope is to raise money so that everyone who participates will have a book to read.
