Health and Development in Nicaragua

Hello, visitors! My name is Dexter Loder and I am a 20 year old full-time student. I am currently studying biology, chemistry, and German with aspirations of reaching medical school and becoming a doctor. Although young I have committed myself to bettering our planet through any means and providing assistance when I can.
This is an imporant event in my life and in the lives of many others. My goal is to raise approximately 6,000 dollars or more. I will be using this money to pay for any personal expenses this requires but that is only a fraction of what your donations can and will do. A small group of students from the University of Idaho are being led on a community and health development trip to Nicaragua by Helen Brown. Our goals are to assess the current state of the community in partnership with the residents and take action as needed. The purchase of medical supplies, educational supplements, and extracurricular supplements (soccer ball, cleats, etc) are the current priority.
