Nora needs surgery both legs broken

Zarpas y Colmillos (AKA Fangs and claws) is an animal protection nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of abandoned animals in Madrid (Spain).
For a year we have a very complicated case of a dog that has undergone several operations to save her two broken front legs, and the nightmare continues, so we come to GoFundMe with the intention of raising the money we need to enter another surgery with her again .
It is difficult to summarize the year of surgeries we already have with Nora and the fighting for her little legs, but we will try as always, we have to save her legs.
We want to tell you her sad story. Nora is a young dog that has not had much luck in her life, she lived in a house and for unknown reasons one day decided to jump into the void from the height of a 3rd floor. Nora both forelegs split and its owner did not want to pay her veterinary care.
He spent 15 days with both legs broken until he broke down and jumped back out the window, we understand that she wanted to escape the hell in which he lived. A neighbor who has a shop there warned us because she fell in front of her store and was picked up by the police. Fortunately Nora has not suffered more damage this fall and she was already safe with us.
In December 2015 Nora is again on the veterinary because they have had to operate her again, the legs festered and the fasteners had to be removed. That's why we started a campaing for raising money in Splitfy asking for donations for her operation. Everything was perfect and we achieved the necessary amount, plus the operation was a success.
We are now in March 2016 , Nora spends more than a month on the vet. Her house shelter was not as responsible as we thought, and because it, her splint was broken. The result was another tremendous veterinary debt, as we had to operate again and let her in the veterinary hospital. That operation was 500 euros and we managed to raise this amount, but things were still complicated...
We took a look at the legs and saw something swollen, we saw that the wounds were festering. The problem is that not only ooze of the newly operated leg , also is doing the leg which was already operated months ago!
We reviewed the radiograph and saw nothing unusual, as this has happened in two days or so… we did not understand what could have happened ... In the veterinary thay have done analysis and have taken to the laboratory to see if any bacteria or discover was refusing the treatment. We had to find an expensive antibiotic, as she had a bacteria that made her reject all normal medicines and our little Nora seemed to recover.
But again, in June 2016 we bring bad news about Nora, a couple of weeks ago the shelter told us that she walked by folding the legs and he felt something odd about one of them. After the X-ray we saw that one of the screws had come loose.
We have gone to another orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion and we have to operate her both legs again.
The passed surgeries were not enought, we have to do another one, again...
We have to put her a new board, this time has to be personalized and we have to order it just for her, besides having to wear special screws to prevent them loose.
Only the operation is 790€, and 385 € the screws just for one leg. It is that this must be multiplied x2 legs and also add implants that has to be ordered by request…
The money we want to reach is for the operation of each leg, this would be about 790 € the surgery + 385 € screws + implants that can be easily calculated as another 200 €. In total, if we multiply the two legs are about 2750 € in total we need to raise.
We are exhausted, both physically and emotionally, after a year Nora still need to enter the operating room and this time we do not know how we are going to reach this amount of money
Soon we will send the budget of the implants and to request them to order and we will post it.

Nora es una perrita joven que no ha tenido mucha suerte en su vida, vivía en una casa y por motivos que desconocemos un día decidió tirarse al vacío desde la altura de un 3er piso. Nora se partió las dos patas delanteras y su dueño no quiso prestarle asistencia veterinaria.
Pasó 15 días con las dos patas rotas hasta que no pudo más y saltó de nuevo por la ventana, entendemos que para escapar del infierno en el que vivía. Una vecina que tiene un comercio nos avisó porque cayó delante de la tienda y la recogimos junto a la policía. Afortunadamente Nora no ha sufrido mas daños en esta caída y ya esta a salvo.
En diciembre 2015 Nora vuelve a estar ingresada porque la han tenido que operar una vez más, las patitas supuraban y le han tenido que quitar los fijadores. Es por eso que montamos un bote en Splitfy pidiendo donaciones para su operación. Todo fue perfecto ya que logramos la cantidad necesaria, además de que la operación fue todo un éxito.
Ahora estamos en marzo 2016 nuestra peque lleva más de un mes ingresada en el veterinario. Su casa de acogida resultó no ser tan responsable como creíamos, y debido a ello se le rompió la férula. El resultado fue otra deuda veterinaria tremenda, ya que tuvimos que operarla una vez más e ingresarla en el hospital veterinario, donde sigue ingresada actualmente. Esa operación de 500 euros la hemos conseguido recaudar justo esta primera semana de marzo, pero las cosas siguen complicándose...
Nos fijamos en las patitas y las vimos algo hinchadas, y pensamos que sería porque le apretaban un poquito, pero al mirarla bien ha resultado que las heridas están supurando. El problema es que no solo supuran de la pata recién operada, sino que lo está haciendo la pata que ya lleva operada meses!
Revisamos la radiografía y no tenía nada raro, pero esto ha sucedido en dos dias si llega, no entendemos qué ha podido pasar... En el veterinario han hecho análisis y lo han llevado al laboratorio para ver si es alguna bacteria o descubrir qué tiene que está rechazando el tratamiento. Hemos tenido que buscar un antibiótico muy caro, ya que tenía una bacteria que la hacía rechazar todos los medicamentos normales y la peque parecía recuperarse.
Pero de nuevo, en Junio 2016 traemos malas noticias sobre Nora, hace un par de semanas su casa de acogida nos avisó de que andaba doblando las patitas y que le notaba algo raro en una de ellas. Al hacerle radiografía vimos que uno de los tornillos se le había soltado.
Después de un año, pensar que todas las operaciones que se ha hecho la pequeña no van a solucionar su problema, nos deja destrozados. Nora se fracturó las patas tantas veces que su lucha aún no ha terminado. Las operaciones fueron bien en su día, pero tuvieron complicaciones que ya os hemos ido actualizando hasta día de hoy y que han dado lugar a esto. ¿Qué quiere decir? Que la tenemos que volver a operar.
Hemos ido a otro traumatólogo, especialista en estos casos para poder arrojar un poco de luz al asunto, y este ha sido el diagnóstico:
Hay que ponerle una nueva placa, esta vez tiene que ir a medida y tenemos que pedirla por encargo, además de tener que llevar unos tornillos especiales para evitar que vuelvan a soltarse.
Tan sólo la operación es de 790€, y los tornillos 385€ pero de una sola pata. A esto hay que sumarle otros 200€ aproximadamente de los implantes, asi que podéis imaginaros la cantidad que suma esto para una pata... y multiplicadlo por dos.
Estamos agotados, tanto física como emocionalmente, después de un año Nora sigue necesitando entrar a quirófano y esta vez no sabemos cómo lo vamos a conseguir.
Pronto nos mandarán el presupuesto de los implantes ya que hay que pedirlos por encargo y lo subiremos.
