Dom Georgiou's Broken Neck Fund

Hi all,
I am setting this up on behalf of one of my best mates Dom Georgiou who suffered a servere injury last weekend in the local derby rugby match against Heath RUFC. Dom is suffering from a broken neck (Fractured C6 Vertebrae). Fortunately Dom has some cover with me which provides him with a lump sum pay out but unfortunately the cover he took was very basic and will only cover him for just over 1 months wage. He did not take out any sick pay cover and unfortunately he will only recieve statutory sick pay which as we all know is peanuts! I thought it would be a nice idea for us all to get behind Dom and show him our support by contributing whatever we can to allow him to carry on living a normal lifestyle financially despite his difficulties. This is a very depressing time for Dom as he has very little movement as you can imagine from that thing stuck into his head from the photo! As we all know Christmas is around the corner which is the toughest part of the year financially anyway, and i want my mate to feel like this injury isn't going to hold him back for the festive period by any means. For those of you that know Dom personally, if any of his mates were in his situation he would do exactly the same thing. The money is just to allow him to get out of the house and enjoy the christmas period without worrying about finances. Where not asking for a lot for him, just whatever you feel nessesary to show your support.
