Don & Noah's Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
A great tragedy has befallen our loved ones, Don and Noah Booher. On the night of September 26, a fire swallowed their sweet little home in the trees.
Noah rushed home from work to find his home in flames and his father missing. A neighbor said an ambulance took him to the hospital, his condition unknown. Noah was relieved to see his little dog escaped the flames but as he watched his home burn, he realized that everything he owned, including his money, was burning in that fire. He had nothing left, but the clothes on his back and a few dollars in his pocket.
After calling all the local hospitals, his father was located. Don had been taken to Valley Medical Center in San Jose, and is currently in the burn unit ICU. He is badly burned, but stable. The road to recovery will be challenging,
Don is currently living on his social security benefits, supplemented by part-time work with SalesPros, a beverage promotion company. Noah works for New Leaf Community Market, in Half Moon Bay. Neither one of them have any savings to help them get through this tragedy alone.
For the past few days, Noah has been sleeping on an airbed at his friend's house, without a clean change of clothes to wear to work. Don will be in the hospital for a while—but has no home to return to, no clothing, no computer, nor anything else. All was consumed by the flames.
Please help Don and Noah get through this challenging time, by contributing what you can.
Thank you sincerely, Claire (Noah's aunt)
