Anne Bilous was first diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer in 2003. She had surgery for a full hystorectomy and also had small parts of her stomach, bladder, and intestines removed in hopes of removing the cancer completely. The surgeons werent confident the cancer would be completely gone after surgery so upon healing she began a 36 weeks treatment of Chemo Therapy. At the end of the treatment she was found to be cancer free and put into remission in 2004. For the next 6 years she remained cancer free and in 2010 they found 2 maligment tumors in her abdomen. They were found to be inoperable and she was placed on an every other week chemo therapy plan for the next 6 years. She got her hand caught in a machine at work a few months back and in order for her hand to heal properly she had to be taken off of the Chemo. She went to the doctor with back pain and they found a tumor wrapped around her spine. The doctor was optimistic that with radiation and kemo they could once again beat the cancer, however the cancer got into her spinal fluid and traveled up to her brain. Unfortunately now the cancer has become terminal and she was given just two weeks to a month to live. She was a loving mother and also a dear friend to many people. She basically raised her 3 children on her own, their father had struggled with an alcohol addiction and he wasnt really present most of their early lives. She is leaving behind her two sons, Mark and Tim and her daughter Katie. Im rasing money for my friend to cover the cost of the burial service for his mother, anything will help thankyou.
Update: Anne passed away 1/21/17 and is with her parents now but her children could still use the support in this most difficult time.
