In honor of Abdul Sattar Edhi’s birthday, let’s raise some money for Edhi foundation, the largest welfare organization in Pakistan. The money raised is directly transferred to the organization.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, often referred to as Pakistan’s angel of mercy, started his organization as a humanitarian effort to aid the people of Pakistan. At the time of his death on July 8, 2016, Edhi was registered as a guardian of nearly 20,000 children. His organization has rescued more than 20,000 abandoned babies, rehabilitated 50,000 orphans, and has trained more than 40,000 nurses. Furthermore, the Edhi foundation runs the world’s largest ambulance service.
