Doug Pata Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Doug Pata went home to the Lord on October 22, 2018. He leaves behind a loving family, and a community of friends whose lives he touched daily. His smile, curious mind and strong example of Christian faith will be missed by all. Doug had many health struggles in the last year of his life, including a difficult battle with Crohn's Disease and its complications which led to the last several months of his life spent in the caring hands of many health professionals at Ohio Health hospitals and the Ohio State University Medical Center. Due to the incredible cost and administrative complexity of his care, his family and friends would like to suggest that donations be made to this memorial fund to relieve his loving parents the burden of funeral expenses and other costs related to his care these last few months. Any gifts beyond what is needed will be given with thanks to ARC Industries' Adult Services program . ARC was Doug's employer (and is still his twin brother Jason's) and our family is incredibly grateful for the work they do to provide an accessible, responsive and innovative system of supports that empowers people with developmental disabilities to become lifelong learners and contributing members of our community. Since age 3, Doug was blessed with the most loving home and attentive parents a child could ever hope for. Please join us in offering them a small measure of the same love and attention. Thank you for your support!
