Help family whose house burned down
Donation protected
Today,3/7/2016, my sister, her fiancee and their 6 kids lost their home. Nothing was salvagable. The only thing they have is the clothes on their back. Even their dog passed away while trying to escape the fire. Luckily, my sister, her fiancee and their kids are all safe. I wasn't sure how much money to put down to raise, but they literally have nothing. All of their memories, clothes, any possessions are gone. My sister's first child passed away from cancer when she was 17 months old. She lost every memory she had left of her daughter. Something like that is irreplaceable. I want to help them in any way to make this at least financially easier for them. This will mean the world to them to have any kind of help possible. I appreciate everyone who is able to help and to send prayers their way.
Update: The incredible outpour of donations is amazing! I decided to change the goal to $15,000.00. Insurance will be helping out with the big items. However, we are still in need of certain items that we orignally didn't foresee. Large plastic bins, bottled water, sheets, laundry detergent and giftcards will all be very helpful. Donations can be dropped off at 526 Jacksonville Rd. Bellefonte, PA 16823. Also, if you are able to donate food like pizza and coffee to help while the family and volunteer service people go through the house today, they can be dropped off at 133 Whitman Circle Pleasant Gap, PA 16823. We appreciate everyone and all of the support in the difficult time!
