Dunboyne Amateur Boxing club is a small but busy boxing club in Dunboyne, Co Meath, established since 1990. They have had to move premises several times over the last few years, including several months training in a Function room at Dunboyne Castle Hotel.
They have a strong presence and history in the Dunboyne and surrounding Communities and currently have over 150 members, 80 of them being boys and girls under the age of 16. They have a team of dedicated volunteer trainers that provide training sessions 6-7 days a week.
Their membership continues to grow, particularly for children. This year, the club is celebrating 6 All-Ireland Champions and 9 Leinster Champions. They desperately need to raise funds to secure their own permanent premises, so that they can continue to provide this invaluable service to so many people in Meath, Kildare and surrounding counties.
