Jace Smith competing @ Jr.Nationals
Donation protected
Jace Smith, a 16 year old grade 11 student, is one of Nova Scotia's brightest up and coming athletes in the sport of Weightlifting. He's been training hard for the past year and now has an opportunity to compete at the 2016 Junior National Weightlifting Chapmionships in January held in Regina.
Jace is one of the few lifters from Nova Scotia to compete nationally in many years. An opportunity to compete will help not only Jace immesurably, but also the province. For Jace, competing will mean exposure to a national calibre competition and developing a very clear sense of the kind of work he'll need to put in to be national level weightlifter for years to come. An opportutnity to compete will also be an important step in supporting the sport of weightliting in Nova Scotia.
Attending nationals will be an expensive trip--accomodations and travel will be close to $2,300. If you can please help him with these expenses as he looks to rank nationally. Any amount will help.
