YAKUB Films Stolen Camera

My name is Jacob Linden, (YAK, YAKUB FILMS). I am a filmmaker from Chicago. I spend my time helping friends document their concerts and help local startup companies on a weekly basis for free. My love for this city and faith for where it is going, is HUGE.

On January 9th, I was documenting an event thrown by a close friend of mine. Helping him build his media company. On our way out, I set down my bag in the hands of someone to break up a fight. 20 seconds later I came back and the camera was gone.

The camera is a Sony A7s with a rokinon 35mm lense on it and a Pansonic GH4 strap.

I am raising this money to refund the camera so I can get back into filmmaking immediately. The camera had more than price value. I had hours of footage from one of the most harmonious concerts Chicago has ever seen. Now all of that is gone.

I give back to my city with my whole heart. It would mean the world if I could get any sort of donation to help me get back on my feet. I have so much love for this industry and it's people, this is my only cry for help. I would be beyond thankful. My whole life was taken from me when this happened.
