Earl and Amy Dyer relief fund

Hello,my name is Trey, and I am trying to raise money to help my cousin, Amy Bratcher Dyer, and her Husband, Earl Dyer. Earl and Amy married 25 years ago this past july 6th. 12 years ago Amy was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, major depressive disorder,Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and General Anxiety Disorder. Earl has been her rock through her struggles,he has helped her bathe, dress, and even think clearly when she has hard days. Earl also had to take over the majority of the day to day household finances and responsibilities due to Amy's medical difficulties.Because of the condition of her hands and back,Amy struggles to even cook anymore. After 24 years working for the local telephone cooperative, Amy's doctor put her on an extended medical leave, due to this, she lost her job, Leaving them to only Earl being able to work. Earl found his true calling about 10 years ago in law enforcement,he is a Deputy Sheriff for the Wilson County Sheriff's Department. He loves his job,and still hopes to be able to return to the job he has made his life's work. Earl began to experience paralysis on July 15, first in his hands, then in his legs and was transported by helicopter to Saint Thomas West in Nashville TN. After 3 days in Neuro CCU,he was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. He spent 7 days in St.Thomas west, and was transported to St.Thomas midtown for extensive rehab. Although he has made progress,he is still a quadriplegic at this time. He is still unable to feed himself. Since this diagnosis,he has been diagnosed as having a spinal stroke, and has a long road ahead of him to even be able to walk again. He is at this time facing the fact that he won't be returning to work ,and his work related benefits are ending in the next couple weeks, which will mean no income from his job,or job related insurance. He is currently at NHC in Smithville for physical therapy and care, but with his insurance situation unclear,it is also unclear if he will be able to stay . Amy asks that those who believe in prayer, pray for them. I am hoping to raise money to go toward the costs of hospital bills and living expenses for them, because right now they are both out of work due to illness. 2 more kind hearted, hard working people you will not find. Most recently, a custom wheelchair was donated by the good folks at Permobile, which enables Earl to have his mobility once again,it even enables him to stand. But now he is in need of a van with a chair lift.So please pitch in what you can to help them ,and to help Deputy Dyer get his van! Donations go to Amy Dyer, Earl Dyer's wife through gofundme.org. Thank you.
