Eastside Elites HS/Jr Fishing Club

Some of you may know that I am a late starting FLW Tournament angler but I have been a die hard sportsman my whole life. After a lack of pursuing my passion for a few years I returned back to making it a priority for myself and my son Keegan. I quickly realized that thier are many youth that wanted to do what my son wanted to do, competition bass fishing. We started with one other youth angler, Michael. As these two faught through 2017 and did very well word got around. We quickly became a community club with 12 anglers. We had the highest turnout of anglers enrolled in our club at every tournament. I am a damn proud coach. Many of these boys are like my own. They all don’t have Ranger boats. They all don’t have parents with flexible hours. Many of them have to pay for boaters to get them on the water. Since the start of this club my son has went from a C student to an A student and has only became more responsible. These kids could be causing trouble but instead they often want to pond hop. Please SHARE, DONATE AND SPREAD THE WORD about the Eastside Elites High School Bass Fishing Club. The boys in our club are like brothers and the Michigan Bass Nation Youth Division is like a family. ALWAYS willing to help each other.
To all my Facebook Angling “Friends”....donate any spare bucks you have. Every dollar helps. Also, to the MANY Lake St Clair and Local Fishing Legends, please think about offering your time to talk to these boys. We have monthly meetings with guests welcome. You’d be surprised how many know of you and want to be your competition someday. Since fishing is winding down I will be concentrating my time on this club. There is no event that makes me feel so proud when I here “Eastside Elites” announces over the mic at our tournaments which are now surpassing 100 boats. These high school anglers are our future and will be protecting our water as we grow old.
