Homeless and Fighting Cancer
Donation protected
This is Kim, a wonderful wife and devoted mother to our three boys. She has sacrificed so much for our family that I will never truly be able to thank her.
Earlier this year, we became homeless, and have been forced, like so many others, to move in with relatives. Displaying her usual strength of will, Kim worked harder than ever, finally securing land on which we could move our own modular home. It was a dream come true.
Then, in June 2018, Kim was diagnosed with Stage IV synovial sarcoma. Undaunted, we found a program, doctors and treatments that could save her. All the while, Kim kept working, saving what she could to secure the property and move the home, where she could heal and face the future.
Unfortunately, medical expenses kept piling up, and Kim's health has declined. We rapidly ran through our savings, and now, no longer able to work, we can no longer afford the medications Kim needs to save her life, or the essential final work needed to make our house habitable.
Your donation would pay for the life-saving medications Kim requires and enable us to finish our home. As of now, her medical insurance deductible has reset and she is required to pay hundreds of dollars a month just to maintain her health. But we still have hope, and we still wish more than anything to have a home of our own to face the future together as a family.
Thank you for your time and kindness.
