Dominican Republic Study Abroad

Hey all! As you might know I was chosen as one of the very few people to travel to the Dominican Republic with several other Advertising & Promotion majors May 13th-27th ✈️! In cooperation with Universidad Iberoamericana [UNIBE], I look to gain an appreciation of the distinctive social and economic factors that drive advertising, marketing, and other business practices in this rapidly growing economy. I will have an opportunity to engage with business professionals through site visits at advertising and marketing agencies, media outlets, and multinational food manufacturing operations, such as Coca-Cola, Frito-Lay, Young and Rubicam, and Ogilvy. As part of the program, I’ll get the opportunity to enjoy the rich culture and history, as well as the sun and sand, of one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean...HOWEVER, it does take funding! I ask that from now up until May 1st, anyone contribute a seed of whatever is on their heart towards my venture. Whether it’s $1, $50, $100, it would be a blessing! Don’t get me wrong, I am applying for as many scholarships that I can, and the Lord ALWAYS makes a way, but YOU might be the wedge in between me and that way if you catch my drift?
