Everybody loves Effie.

To know our dear fandom friend is to love her, and if you don't know effie214 , then, to quote the great Mrs. Landingham, "God, I don't even want to know you."

And now, dear friends, followers, and fandom fools alike, she needs our help. Medical bills and expenses are piling up for her and her family, and things are stretching thin. 

Please give what you can, and encourage your friends and followers to do the same. Every little bit helps. 

I know I'm not the only one out there with a story or memory about Effie's unfailing kindness, whether it's a lovely message, a treasured fic review or a flailing, gif-filled reblog. She's there for us, and now it's our chance to be there for her. 

There's been a lot of talk recently about the pros and cons of fandom, and I truly believe this is one of the best things we can do as a group, piecing together small steps to make a big difference. Lets do it for someone who absolutely deserves it.
