The Ever Forward Foundation Hosts: Dancing with the Richmond Stars - A Children's Hospital of Richmond Fundraiser
For those of you whom are unfortunately unable to join us for the event in D.C. on April 21, we very much appreciate your contributions to the cause in your absence. Thank you, and EVER FORWARD.
Deborah Kern, mother to Chase Chewning, the founder of The Ever Forward Foundation, will be competing on Friday, May 18th in the "Dancing with the Richmond Stars" charity event and all ticket proceeds will be donated to her campaign benefiting the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Information about the "Dancing with the Richmond Stars" fundraiser:
In early 2018, the new facility for the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC) will open its doors on the Brook Road Campus of Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR). The VTCC is the mental health arm of CHoR, and the new 120,000 square foot state of the art facility will provide psychiatric and mental health services through inpatient and outpatient services to children and their families from all over Virginia. The building features a sweeping two story waiting and welcome center, with a Children’s Activity Center steps away from the Children’s Mental Health Center and inviting outside courtyard. Children coming to VTCC will be welcomed with murals, artwork and special play areas throughout the building. The proceeds from the 2018 Dancing with the Richmond Stars will be used to fund the Children’s Activity Center, a special waiting area with colorful seating, interactive gel block flooring and activities area.
