Hounsdown Staff 3 Peaks Challenge
Donation protected
The Hounsdown staff, students and community have recently been devastated by the sad loss of a truly inspirational teacher, Mr Michael Jeffery.
Mr Jeffery was an amazing teacher and sportsman who was so highly regarded by students and staff alike. His legacy will remain in the hearts and minds of those he taught.
Michael was also a truly doting and wonderful father who has sadly left behind a young daughter.
A team at Housdown School has been created to take on the infamous Three Peaks Challenge. This is both an incredibly physical and mental challenge where the team will attempt to climb the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. This challenge is going to become even more poignant as we honour the walk in memory of Mr Jeffery.
The team have considered charity options for the challenge but at such a difficult time we thought it would be incredibly fitting to fundraise for Mr Jeffery’s daughter. Whilst nothing can replace her Dad, we'd like to raise some money for her in his memory to provide both short and long term needs and give her the start in life that Michael would have provided.
