A Little About The Amazing Egan Family:
The Egan family is a beautiful family of five, bound by love and strong faith. Sarah and Rob Egan have two sons, Noah (14) and Josiah (12), and one daughter Lily Grace (8). While all their children are blessings, Lily is considered their “Miracle Baby,” surviving and thriving despite being born with extensive, life-threatening congenital anomalies (birth defects), including skeletal dysplasia, tracheal stenosis, a laryngeal cleft, cleft palate, urogenital anomalies, etc. She was born with progressive hearing loss and is now deaf. Lily is unable to speak due to her tracheal abnormalities, but has learned sign language and expresses herself wonderfully. Despite many challenges she faces daily, Lily is amazingly resilient and brings much happiness and joy to all those whose lives she touches.
100s of Medical Trips:
Born in 2006, Lily and her parents have made hundreds of trips to hospitals and specialists around the country for consultations, treatment and surgeries. She has now had more than 60 surgeries/procedures and 50 hospitalizations. Lily has many critical futue surgeries coming up, including neurosurgery to remove brain lesions, and tracheal and bladder reconstruction, etc. Most immediately, Lily and her mother will be leaving on another medical trip to Phoenix Children's Hospital this month to address a benign tumor growing on Lily's brain.
Addressing Mounting Expenses:
Those who know the Egans marvel at their energy, perseverance and fierce determination to help their little girl lead the healthiest and happiest life possible. Sarah and Rob are extremely busy tending to the care and survival of Lily, while making sure their two amazing boys lead as happy and normal a life as possible. As members of Sarah and Rob’s extended family, we’d like to help them address mounting expenses from eight years of ongoing, critical travel to doctors and hospitals around the U.S. to address Lily’s ongoing medical care, as well as future travel and lodging expenses.
The toll this takes on Sarah and Rob emotionally and physically is extensive. Often their health is affected by the constant demand, love and energy they pour out to Lily and their family daily, resulting in chronic health issues for both parents that are execerbated by stress and exhaustion.
Every Dollar Relieves Pressure. Please Help:
