Costa Rica Mission Trip Oct 2016

Dear Family and Friends,
I am really excited about what the Lord has in store for me in October 2016. He has provided the opportunity for me to be a part of a short term mission trip to Costa Rica and to train me for mission trips in the future.
I’ll be traveling with 10 others from Grace Church, leaving October 1st and returning on October 8th. Our team is scheduled to work with Ray and Lidia Zirkel, Methodist pastors located just outside the community of Coronado near San Jose. The mission team will be assisting in the construction of buildings on the Methodist Children’s Home campus and conducting Vacation Bible School for children in nearby communities.
Because this is my first mission trip, I really need your prayers. Each team member has been asked to raise their own prayer team. Each prayer team member is asked to commit to praying for our mission team daily. Would you prayerfully consider being part of my prayer team?
My team is also raising funds for this trip which includes round-trip airfare, lodging, meals, construction materials, local labor and insurance. The team will be doing several local fundraisers and I am asking for your financial support as well.
