Elaine & Micah Fire Recovery Fund

For the second time in eight months, Elaine Alghani and Micah Sheiner have lost their home in Idyllwild to a fire.
The home they were renting was destroyed on July 26th by the #CranstonFire in Idyllwild/Mountain Center. They received the devastating news this morning, and are trying to plan their next steps. Fortunately, they were both out of town, and so they were not injured, and their little dog Rascal is also safe...but they not only lost their home, they lost most of their possessions - including the things they need for their work as healers.
They will need to find a new place to live and also replace furniture, bedding, kitchen items, clothing, computer, etc. Right now they are staying with friends, but they desperately need to purchase musical instruments that they use in their work as sound healers: gongs, drums, flutes, Tibetan bowls, etc. They have events coming up and need the income from their work.
Elaine and Micah do so much to heal others who are going through crises in their lives. They are both kind, compassionate, talented individuals who care deeply for the earth and the animals and plants. Losing their home - for the second time - to a fire is devastating, and they are also grieving the great destruction and loss of wildlife in the Idyllwild community due to this fire.
This great loss is something they are trying to understand and process on a very deep level. Micah and Elaine feel that perhaps they are being called to live a life that is not tied to one place, perhaps in a home that is mobile. They lead workshops, trainings and sound healing ceremonies all over California, so they are frequently traveling for their work. Right now, they are simply trying to absorb what has happened and trying to figure out to heal and move forward. Every dollar raised in this fund will go toward helping them as they remake home somehow, whether it be back in Idyllwild or in a new location. Please hold them in your hearts as they cope with these challenges.
Please support them in any way you can. Every dollar helps - as do your kind, encouraging words. Their friend Stella Davies is also organizing a benefit for them, a sound healing gathering - we will post an update once there are more details.
