Elizabeth Doty Recovery Support

Elizabeth Doty is a skilled violinist and devoted teacher known for her kind and passionate approach to music. On January 17th, she experienced a rare blood clot that caused bleeding in her brain, lost consciousness and was rushed to a hospital. Because of her excellent health and hard work in occupational therapy, she has made a remarkable recovery over the past months and incredibly is expected to heal completely from this ordeal. However, as a freelance musician and teacher, the loss of income from missed performances as she recovers is substantial. We hope to offer her some financial and emotional support by raising funds to ease that stressful burden during a difficult time. So many of us have enjoyed her friendship, deep investment in her students, and contribution to the arts community in Oregon and would like to give back as we are able.
