Hey y'all. I'm ellie. I've been struggling for a long time and I need help.
For several years I've been trying to save for ffs (facial feminization surgery) I haven't been very successful. Face dysphoria fucks me up on the daily. I have a strong negative emotional response to my reflection every time I see it. Which is often.
I've been on hormone therapy for five years. I have two jobs. My savings are very modest. At the rate I'm saving i won't have the funds until 16 years from now.
The funds I am raising here will go towards travel documentation, surgery, and lodging. If additional funds are raised, that money will go toward flights, covering time off work, and more surgery in that order.
The total cost of the surgery is $12600 but I have $1000 from a previous fundraiser and some additional savings.
