**Matching Donor for Animal Response Unit **Since 2015, Animal Investigation & Response* has deployed numerous teams of certified and specifically trained volunteers throughout and beyond north-central Texas. We cooperate with municipal partners in an effort to assess, address, and assist the critical and unique needs associated with caring for animals in emergency settings. Although the range and nature of our individual cases may vary considerably, each situation shares a common need for one major item that could vastly benefit every operation: A RESPONSE TRAILER. Fortunately, we have located the perfect one; we just need YOUR HELP to make our dream into a reality for each life we want to save.Whether we must dispatch animal investigators to surveil illegal activities, resource with large-animal and livestock rescue, coordinate daily care for hundreds of dogs and cats confiscated during cruelty case seizures, or assist with ongoing aftercare of animals and shelters affected by disaster-related emergencies, etc., we have often wished for a trailer to serve as a much-needed area to provide more space for the animals, our workload, and our volunteers, who often travel hundreds of miles to report for service. Why this particular trailer? It's a fantastic bargain and we would surely hate to pass it up. It's easily transportable, has multiple A/C units and hefty generator so we can provide animals with quality, emergency care, and it even has a space for our volunteers to prepare meals and rest between shifts. Plus, a trailer like this would make overnight management and things like kitten and puppy bottle feedings infinitely easier at 3am if we had an onsite, accessible staging and nursery area when needed. Currently, we are renting the trailer, which has become an integral part of our Canton Animal Services emergency response team's operation, on a weekly basis while we help the community sort through the aftermath of the deadly tornados that recently ripped through Canton this spring. As a central tool, we know it's already made a huge difference in our ability to provide better service for the people of Canton. We'd like nothing more than to incorporate this trailer into all of our future deployments, as well. ****We have secured a donor that is willing to match you donations DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!! ****We just need you to help us make that happen. For them. For you. For all. Thanks kindly for your generous donation. The animals thank you!!! #DefendingAnimalDignity *Animal Investigation & Response is a 501(c)3 animal protection organization.
