Emily Ana Martinez

Our hearts are broken… On March 5th at approximately 1:15 a.m. there was a car crash on Killian Parkway and SW 98th avenue.  A 17 year old girl died on impact. That 17 year old is Emily Ana Martinez, a much loved and highly accomplished college-bound senior with full scholarship to USF.  Her mother, Rossy Martinez, was planning her 18th birthday and high school graduation parties, and now she has to plan her funeral. Emily leaves behind a dedicated and loving single mother, an adoring young brother for whom Emily helped care for, her loving 90 year old grandparents with whom they all lived with, her caring aunt, uncle and cousins as well as countless friends from school and work. As you can imagine, the family is grieving and the last thing we want them to worry about is finances. Funeral expenses are only the beginning for this family. Anyone who knows Rossy, knows that she has a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it.
