Not to dream, for my work defines my worth,

My past and future—a chain since birth.

Who I am is questioned, for I am a mother,

A label stacked upon every other.

Because I live in this land of “free,”

My spirit wrestles, yearning to flee.

And my belief—a quiet, sacred flame,

Is cast into shadows, wrapped in shame.

But my heart whispers, strong and bold,

From Challenges to Empower: The Story Behind Life Gap Cardio LLC

✨ Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but every challenge has shaped who I am today.

As a single parent for 20 years, I’ve worn many hats—civilian manager, youth sports coach, daycare teacher, and Girl Scout leader. My career spans over a decade in leadership and supervision, where I learned the value of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Coaching youth sports and working with children taught me the importance of patience, guidance, and building strong foundations for growth.

My passion for understanding people and helping others thrive led me to earn two degrees in psychology. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s and working toward my Ph.D., because I believe education is a powerful tool to create change and empower lives.

✨ My daughter and I also made giving back a family tradition. Every Christmas, we donate gifts to shelters and distribute food to the homeless because we believe in love, hope, and compassion to those in need.

During my 12 years of military service, life brought challenges. I experienced the trauma of PTSD during deployments, endured the devastating pain of being S/Aed by both a leader and a military doctor, and faced racial profiling and discrimination within a system meant to support and protect. While serving, our home was robbed, car was stolen. These hardships tested me in ways I never imagined, forcing some of life’s darkest moments.

These struggles didn’t break me—they ignited my determination to fight harder, grow stronger, and pave the way for others who might feel silenced or forgotten.

Watching my daughter overcome multiple surgeries, one she barely survived, has been my greatest source of inspiration. Despite everything, she continues to shine with resilience and ambition, pursuing her dream career in acting and directing.

‍ Her strength reminds me daily that no matter how tough life gets, we all have the power to rise above and rewrite our stories.

As a veteran with over a 100%, I’ve faced physical, emotional, and systemic challenges. All combined with my leadership and coaching background, have shaped my mission to create a safe space for others to heal, grow, and thrive.

This is why I founded Life Gap Cardio LLC.

Life Gap Cardio is about bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be, with a focus on celebrating individuality, empowering growth, and embracing transformation.
