Epitome's Quest to the Jr. Olympics

Epitome is a track and field and educational track club that is for our kids and driven by our kids. Epitome brings together talented and not so talented athletes from Duval County and surrounding areas to participate in high-level competitions and to lead them on their way to become the athlete they aspire to be. Although our main focus is academics and track and field, our commitment is to all forms of amateur sports and fitness. Epitome was structured to be an innovative community oriented organization providing sports and fitness programming for all ages and abilities.
The members of this organization have a long tradition of developing skills of both boys and girls and have a history of fielding competitive teams that enjoy success at the highest level throughout our community. It’s fair to say that Epitome has had a positive impact on the lives of Jacksonville’s area youth. Our athletes have been afforded the opportunity to compete at the following meets:
USATF Region 4 Junior Olympic Championships Spartenburg, SC
July 7th - July 10th, 2016
AAU Primary National Championship (Age 8 & Under Only) Kissimmee, FL
July 7th - 9th, 2016
USATF National Junior Olympic Championships Sacramento, CA
July 26th - July 31st, 2016
AAU Junior Olympic Games Norfolk, VA
August 1 - 7, 2016
Epitome is guided by dedicated volunteers, but it is different from most other organizations. We are a small organization and do not receive public assistance. Our only sources of revenue will be fundraisers, the fees paid by parents and donations received from generous individuals and businesses to lower cost. Registration fees cover the basic costs of club operation and field/facility maintenance. The individual athletes are required to raise their own funds to cover the costs of necessary equipment, travel for competition, entry fees, lodging, apparel and uniforms.
In order to make this experience a reality, we are giving businesses, family and friends the opportunity to help our dreams turn into reality! We are asking for monetary donations or gifts cards.
