Erica Castillo - Ramseur Elementary Teacher

Erica Gilley Castillo - A lead teacher at Ramseur Elementary In Randolph County, NC was seriously injured in a head on collision the morning of 11/20/18 while on her way to work. She was hit by an impaired driver driving with a revoked license. She was airlifted to UNC hospital with multiple injuries including broken femur in one leg, broken tibia in the other leg, both sides of her pelvis, several fractures along her spine and neck. She underwent her first surgery yesterday where they placed rods in both of her legs and closed the open wound in her leg. She will most likely need a skin graft at some point on the wound. They are closely monitoring her for blood clots, infection and making sure her neck is stabilized. She will remain immobilized for at least 10 weeks and in the coming days will be evaluated for additional surgeries. 
Erica is a wonderfully teacher, daughter, wife and friend to everyone!! She is loved by so many and her family is grateful that God spared her life in this horrible accident. He was and has been covering her with his protection, Love and healing through this. Please help in any way you can!! She has a very long road to recovery and will have a huge amount of medical expenses, but we are believing she will fully recover!! Also please continue to pray for Erica, her husband Tony and all of the family!!
