! Help Guatemala - eruption Fuego!

((scroll for English)) Am 03.06.2018 brach der Vulkan FUEGO in Guatemala aus. Im Unterschied zu vergangenen Ausbrüchen Fuegos hatte dieser Ausbruch eine weitaus größere Heftigkeit und ein weitaus höheres Zerstörungspotenzial. Letzteres ist vor allem darauf zurückzuführen, dass Fuego keine normale Lava ausspuckt, wie dies beispielsweise Pacaya tut, sondern pyroklastische Lava. Aufgrund der Höhe des Vulkans von knapp 3.800 Metern stürzte diese Lava wie ein Wasserstrom ins Tal hinab und begrub ausnahmslos alles unter sich. Zahlreiche nicht evakuierte Dörfer und demnach Hunderte von Menschen - 1,7 Millionen Betroffene, offiziell über 300 Tote (die inoffizielle Zahl geht in die Tausende!). Doch der Vulkanausbruch von Fuego war erst der Anfang: Im weiteren Verlauf brach der Pacaya mehrfach aus, Fuego ließ daraufhin nicht lange auf sich warten und brach ebenfalls weitere Male aus, so dass immer wieder mussten die Hilfsmaßnahmen und die Versorgung von Opfern eingestellt und die Zona 0 aufgrund von Niedergängen von Laharen – heiße Schlammlawinen als Folge der Regenzeit kamen von Fuego herunter – evakuiert werden musste. Die Menschen in Guatemala kämpfen weiterhin ums nackte Überleben.  Durch einige meiner bisherigen Spenden (Danke, Leute!) konnte ich nicht nur einiges an Nahrungsmitteln für die Dörfer einkaufen und ihnen zur Verfügung stellen, sondern auch Carlos unterstützen. Carlos verlor beim Ausbruch des Fuego nicht nur sein Haus und sein ganzes Hab und Gut, sondern auch seine Familie (Eltern, Frau und 3 Kinder). Mit schwersten Verletzungen wurde er nach Mexiko ins Krankenhaus gebracht, kämpfte dort ums Überleben und kam - Gott sei Dank - vor einigen Wochen nach Guatemala zurück. Aufgrund seiner Verletzungen kann er immer noch nicht arbeiten und so möchte ich mit meinen Spenden seine monatlichen Fixkosten (Miete: 50 Euro, Ausgaben: 50 Euro) übernehmen. Sein größter Wunsch ist ein kleines Stück Land, denn auch dieses hat er verloren, als die Regierung das Dorf für unbewohnbar erklärte. Dieses kleine Stück Land kostet circa 7.000 Euro! In contrast to various previous eruptions that already occurred this year and past years, this eruption was more intense. Still, the eruption of Fuego wasn’t the only catastrophe that happened in Guatemala in June. In the course of the events, Pacaya erupted several times, the supporting measures and the supply of victims were interrupted because of lahars and there were several earthquakes. 1.7mio people were affected by the eruption, officially, more than 300 lost their lives. It is to be estimated that more than 1000 people died.  People in Guatemala are still struggling to survive.  I want to support Carlos who basically lost everything, his house, his property and, what is more, his whole family (parents, wife, 3 kids). With the funds, I would like to pay for his rent and expenses (each month: ~120 USD). His biggest wish is to buy land in Guatemala again so that he - together with the help of Volunteer workers - can builda small house on it. This, in turn, costs about 8.200 USD.
