We are currently raising funds to purchase property or rental property to open our community center!!
Expression with Direction is a youth non-profit organization established in 2016 by four African American women who are driven by their passion for youth success and involvement. Our unique approach to guiding expressions is how we connect, motivate and inspire the youth. We offer a variety of programs and activities to promote ongoing youth engagement and development.
EWD will provide the following programs:
Job Readiness Program- Our job readiness program is designed to prepare the youth for future employment opportunities.
Trade Workshop- We offer a variety of trade programs that will equip the youth with the necessary skills to obtain employment in their desired fields.
Athletic Programs- EWD's athletic program is implemented to connect the youth’s massive energy towards positive things, to better themselves through sports; strengthening the youth in communication, team work, discipline, self-confidence and much more!
Arts Program- Designed to allow the youth to express themselves through different activities in a positive way.
Community Involvement – EWD is actively involved in giving back to the community and rewarding the youth for their dedication and efforts.
Tutoring- We offer tutoring in a variety of subjects such as math, reading, science, history and more!
Mentoring- Our staff is committed to providing guidance, support and positive role models to the youth; who they can trust and connect with while ensuring ongoing success.
Transportation- We will provide transportation assistance to ensure the youth’s safety when commuting to home, school and extracurricular activities.
All fundraising efforts and 100% of proceeds will go to the EWD Headquarters & community center and the programs and activities for members and participants. All services and assistance is provided to those in need of EWD free of charge, with dedication and commitment.
All donations are greatly appreciated! No one can do anything alone, and "children are one third of our population and all of our future", so lets come together and give our children a chance!!
