On Boxing Day 2015, Bingley was hit with devasting floods which had a huge impact across our town.
May of our residents had their homes destroyed and some families were even left homeless.
The community immediately responded and an incident base was set up by volunteers to assist and support residents and businesses.
Whilst the hands on support will soon be winding down, we are all aware of the financial impact this has had on many people.
We therefore would like to help continue the support by raising funds for financial assistance to those whose lives have been turned upside down.
The money will help people to get their lives back in order and in many cases return to their homes.
A committee will be set up to manage the funds and direct it to those that need it most.
We thank everyone for their support over what has been a horrific time for our town.
