Fund for Maritza Ovsak's Children

Family of Woodstock, Inc. is requesting donations in memory of our beloved Maritza Ovsak. Funds will be used for expenses for the family as well as future college expenses for her daughters.
About Family:
The agency provides a multitude of programs throughout Ulster and surrounding counties, focused on the following issues: homelessness; domestic violence; child care; a variety of services to adults and adolescents; food security; information and referral; reentry and criminal justice services; as well as community development.
Maritza was an employee of Family before she went on to work for the Kingston City School District and subsequently the Workers Justice Center. Even while working for other agencies she continued to help the agency provide survised visitation services. She was beloved by the agency and we have committed to helping her family get through this terrible tragedy.
Maritza left three daughters, who the fund is targeted to assist. The funds will be used to pay for their travel costs and to help them in the future. A check from the agency will be sent to the oldest daughter to share with her sisters.
