4 - Song EP
Hello again, world! It's your friendly neighborhood Ezra Jacob! I'm a local musician/worship leader/recording artist in the Atlanta area. Once again, I've got some very exciting news to share with you!
Some of you may recall that I did some fundraising in February for a single called "Every Sight Since" that I recently released on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon Music (click here to purchase: www.itunes.apple.com/album/id1102312950?ls) When I released "Every Sight Since", which peaked at #29 on the Singer/Songwriter Charts on iTunes, I was absolutely blown away by the support that I received from everyone; friends, family, acquaintences, and even people I don't know! I received messages from people about using the song in their films, wanting it in their weddings, asking me to play at various venues, etc. Ultimately, the general consensus was this: "MORE!" So, here I am, calling on some more of that generosity and support, with plans to make a 4-song EP to be released sometime in late spring 2017! Here's how YOU can be a part of it!
I need to raise somewhere in the vicinity of $6,000 to pay for all of the musicians, the labor of mixing and editing the tracks, the mastering, and the mass distribution, including but not limited to physical CD copies of this EP, as well as other things to make this experience even more incredible for you as my beloved audience. I will be putting in a great deal of my own money into this project because I want to be just as financially invested as you guys.
The fundraising process is going to be a bit different this time around. Instead of solely donating online, I will be performing at several venues within and outside of the deadline period for this track, giving you the opportunity to listen in live, get more of a taste of what I sound like, and donate/purchase a few merchandise items that will be for sale soon (currently working on posters!!) so stay tuned for those tour dates!
This EP is really going to be something special. It will have some songs that I have written within the past few months, as well as old tunes that I've performed over the past few years that are finally getting their shot in the light. We are really pulling all the stops this time, trying out new instruments, a little bit of computer production, as well as innovative ways of recording. However, I can guarantee; you can expect the same heart behind every lyric and melody! Each tune will have a specific message that is a core belief to who I am, not only as an artist, but as a person. As a Christian and worship leader in the community, you can expect some worship songs to be on there, but that won't be the whole EP, because I believe that God has allowed me to touch on more than solely worship. There will be moments where you will be dancing and singing at the top of your lungs and there will be moments where you will be challenged to think and feel something new. I could not be more excited to share this new collection with you all and share in the community that music allows us all to partake in.
