Ezra’s MRI

Roughly a month ago I was playing fetch at the park with Ezra when he got a little too rambunctious and stumbled mid-sprint while leaning over to grab the ball. He shoulder planted into the grass but got right back up and didn’t seem to notice any different. We played for a little longer at which point he seemed to be getting tired and we came back home. Later that night was when he started to be unable to walk properly. He has never shown pain before, even when he sliced his paw open on a piece of glass and was bleeding profusely. However that night we could barely make it 100 meters before he stopped me in my tracks to turn around and hobble home. 
The vet initially thought he sprained his shoulder and just needed some time to heal, however, xrays and many appointments to the vet and we still have no idea why he’s limping. The vet recommended we do an MRI to get a better understanding of what is going on with his soft tissue, but when she mentioned a price tag of $2700 (CAD) before anesthetic and other fees, I had the realization that it could be quite a while before I’ve got anywhere close to that kind of money saved up.
Ive just graduated from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University with student loans and unfortunately, no immediate job opportunities. I spoke with my parents about maybe loaning some money from them however they’ve just finished repairing the foundation on the house and replacing the furnace/installing AC and the harsh reality is they can’t help me with the entirety of the cost.
Which is why I’ve made this gofundme. I initially posted on twitter that I was basically selling anything I own with monetary value that could cut the cost of the MRI significantly. A few friends mentioned they’d be interested in helping out and that a gofundme would be a good idea. So here I am.
Of course, I don’t expect a single penny from anyone. I just have no idea what else to do because it kills me to see my dog limping around the living room and across the street to go pee and poo. I’ve got countless videos on my phone of him running butt-tucked to the ground at the park, he loves to chase sticks, bunny rabbits, soccer balls, and me when we play our version of tag.
