Duloch SpiderMan at Basecamp Mount Everest

In my latest challenge, I will be heading to Mount Everest Base Camp with my dad!
I’ve been wanting to visit this amazing place since I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro back in 2016.
We are doing a 11 day trek starting with a crazy flight into Lukla, (Google Lukla Airport!) and trekking from there to Phakding on day one.
From there we make our way to an altitude of 17,600ft/ 5,389m at Everest Basecamp, trekking through Namche Bazzar, Deboche, Tengboche, Dingboche and Lobuche. From Basecamp we will descent through Gorakshep, Kalapathar, Pherichie, Namche and back to Lukla.
I cannot wait to witness some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and raise much needed funds for Edinburgh Sick Kids.
I will of course be taking my Spider-Man costume and will take the opportunity to get as many photos along the way, and at Basecamp as Spidey!
I am so excited about this challenge and I love that I am getting the chance to do it with my dad!

A note from Sick Kids: We give assistance in five prime areas; The provision of a wide variety of extra comforts, which make time in hospital better for children; The provision of extra child and family-friendly facilities; The purchase of extra medical equipment over and above NHS provision; The provision of extra support for sick children who are cared for in the Community; Funding for extra training and research.
