Rehabilitation Recovery Costs for Samvel

Edit: Samvel has asked me to make a beneficiary list for other soldiers that will be receiving this money. I will put it on the end of this story introduction. 

Samvel was injured in the recent war between the Republic of Artsakh and Azerbaijan. As a result, he suffered serious battlefield related injuries. This gofundme has been made in order to provide enough money to cover hospital fees related to the grotesque injury. Any leftover money will be donated to the Saroyan family and be used at their discretion. 

Samo and his family are from Shushi and the city has come under the control of Azerbaijani forces. Samo has not only lost his limb but he has also lost his home. During the course of the fundraiser, Samo has asked me to continue to raise money for his friends from Shushi. All of them are internally displaced refugees within the Republic of Artsakh. Samo goes onto say that the money raised will be distributed to his friends as well.

Samvel is a young lieutenant in the Artsakh Defense forces. I first met him back in 2016 in the city Shushi, Artsakh. Back in 2016, he was injured during the four-day war but still keep a positive and can due attitude. Samvel treated me like a long lost brother. His warm smile and genuine attitude towards life made me feel at home.

Now more than ever I want to support him and his family during this difficult time. Armenians all over Artsakh are struggling with the realities of this war. Some have burned down their homes, others have lost friends and family, and most have not seen an end to their suffering. I am here to ensure that the Saroyan family can cope the best they can with Samvel's injury.
