10 & 11 Strathmore Gardens

Hi - last night a devastating fire ripped through the family home of Josh & Aria (7) and badly smoke damaged the home next door off Reuben (7) in Strathmore Gardens, Newtyle! These families left with just the clothes they had on. Luckily no one was hurt and everyone was safe. With it only being a few weeks till Christmas we are asking if anyone can donate anything you can to help get them back on their feet.

No doubt they will need rehoused and need to start over again (and unfortunately do not have insurance).

As a community we can’t see these kids go without over Christmas.

standing watching someone loose everything they own was heartbreaking- please help us make things a little bit easier for them! Any donation no matter how small will add up to help make a difference.

We are completely blown away with peoples generosity. Every single donation received will all add up to make a huge difference to these 2 families getting back on their feet. Initially we thought if we could just get a couple of hundred pounds together to get some clothes and gifts for the kids - never did i expect to exceed this by so much. We can never thank you all individually but know we will be eternally grateful for your support. We plan to close off this fundraiser at the weekend (as we would like to pass the money on before christmas).
