10 baby pigs that lost their mom

We recently got a call that a mom pig died after giving birth to 10 baby pigs. Baby pigs need their mom for warmth and milk, so this is a critical situation. We are taking 4 of the baby pigs and Ross Mill Farm will take 6 of them. We are asking for donations to pay to get them fixed so that we don't have any more pig babies.

Here is their story:

A lovely family had a female pig that they loved and adored. They heard that a male "neutered" pig needed a new home immediately, and they said they could help. Well, it turns out that this male pig was not neutered, and he got their female pig pregnant. After she gave birth, she had complications. The family rushed her to the vet - but there was nothing they could do to help and and she passed away. The mom in this family is pregnant herself and her husband is in the military and about to be deployed - so she does not have the time or ability to take care of these 10 baby pigs that need A LOT of care.

We feel so fortunate that we are able to help these 4 babies, but fixing 4 pigs was certainly not in our budget. Especially since the winter months are more expensive to feed our animals and people don't visit the farm as much.
