100 Mile Walk for Alder Hey

In May, me and my good friend Andy will be walking 100 miles from Holyhead to home (Cilcain) to raise money for Alder Hey. Alder Hey saved my sons life twice when he was born, he had a life saving operation at 4 days old, he then spent 3 weeks in between the intensive care unit, critical care unit and neonatal unit. He is still an outpatient and will be until he is 18, so not only the inpatient care but outpatient care is nothing short of outstanding. Since our experience with Alder Hey I have come to realise that Alder Hey either supports or has supported so many people that I know and has been a part of so many families, I want to give something back for everything they have done for us, still continue to do for so many and will do in the future. We can’t repay Alder Hey for giving us our boy but hope to give what we can back.
