1000 miles Trek
Donation protected
My name is Klaus Yohannes and I'm the creator of Black Vikings London and the 7 Sagas. As part of the 6th Saga,
in september, I along with some friends trekked from central London to Dartmoor National Park, wild camping all the way for 15 days, we did this partly to raise money for The Sickle Cell Society ( we raised £1700) but also to undergo a process of growth through a shared mission whilst enduring both personal and collective struggle. This time around we will be trekking from Land's end Landmark attraction to the Isle of Wight and then we will follow the Belinus leyline all the way up to Balnakeil in Scotland. The trek is 1000 miles long and we will be wild camping all the way, the journey is likely to last 2-3 months perhaps more, my aim this time around is to raise funds for a children's charity, most likely Great Ormond Street hospital. The trek will begin in the new year. I have from now until then to raise money to acquire equipment, food, suitable attire for me and my brothers. So far I've managed to get some new boots but I need to replace much of the gear that was damaged in the Dartmoor trekk. I've been fortunate to have some generous friends which have lent their help. Please bear in mind this gofund me page is only to raise funds for the acquisition of supplies in order to begin the march and the subsequent children's charity fundraiser that will follow.
Thank you
Klaus
