1000 People á $11/€10 to save a Human Life!

Dear visitor, thank you for taking the time to come here! I ask you to read at least the next three paragraphs, so you know what it's all about - thank you so much :)
 
I am a member of a German nonprofit organization.
I write in the name of Ahmed. He does not even know how to ask for help on the Internet, well, he finds it difficult to ask for help in real life.
 
He is father of 3 children. And if he does not get a new kidney as soon as possible, he could die soon. I grew up even without a father, he died at the age of 3 3/4 and I know what that means. What it means for a mother, even in a poor area like that of the Nubians in southern Egypt, I do not imagine.
 
It is, so to speak, 5 to 12, and we all can manage to extend his live if only 1000 of us each contribute € 10 (about $ 11). What are € 10 / $ 11? How often do we spend this amount on anything without thinking ... maybe for a pizza? Today we can save a life with it.
 
I would like to start by paying the amount for 31 days (so we only need 969 á €10 / $11)!

And for all of you who have a little more time, here is some more detailed background information about Ahmed:
 
The history:
12 years ago, while visiting the poor areas of Nubians in southern Egypt, we started a project to help those people with different needs:
Clothes for the children, possibilities to send them to school, help after a flood …

We also met a poorly kidney-sick young man named Ahmed and his fate … The 24-year-old could not work because of his suffering and he was without health insurance. He and his family faced the bitter fact that his life would not last much longer. We had great sympathy for the likeable, young man and wanted to help him. We collected donations for a kidney transplant and got the necessary € 10.000 within a short time. The transplantation was successfully done in 2007 in a Cairo specialist clinic, and allowed Ahmed a new life - although restricted, but still almost normal. He married his childhood sweetheart and got three boys, who are today 10, 6 and 3 years old. However, his health condition was always unstable and specialist treatments were necessary, the costs of which we took over from AdmaCUM.
 
The current state of health of Ahmed:
Ahmed's kidney has been functioning poorly for a good year and Ahmed is often ill and weak. He therefore has to go to the kidney specialist in Cairo every two months to check his system, examining him and send him home with new, additional medicines (all costs are covered by AdmaCUM e.V. donations). In the long term, however - and everyone agrees - he needs another kidney transplant, because the constant medical treatment can prolong his life only conditionally. The expensive specialist treatment costs are not covered by the state, so we take over from AdmaCUM e.V. so that Ahmed can live on.
 
Although we have raised € 3,500 through donations over the past few months, this amount is not enough for a kidney transplantation that would cost € 10,000 (about $11.350). From the donation pot for Ahmed, the many, expensive specialist treatments in Cairo are currently being paid, which will reduce the remaining amount for the transplantation continuously.
 
Ahmed desperately needs financial help so that he can live on!
 
If we are too late to prolong his life, as hard as it would be, the donations would help the family very much. We’ll hope, we can receive a new kidney in time for his sake and the sake of his family!
