10,000 steps a day in March for Marie Curie

Jason Vare is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Marie Curie.

Hey im Shaggy and this is my mam Maggie, we are from Bedlington in the Northeast of England and we are going to be walking 10,000 steps EVERYDAY in the month of March, no matter what the weather throws at us.

My Dad 'Arthur Vare' recently passed away due to Mesothelioma and we would like to raise a little money for Marie Curie who did a absoluely fabulous job looking after my Dad in his last days with us.

We have been walking together quite a lot during lockdown in our little bubble and what better way to step it up a gear and help raise some money at the same time for a great cause.

There will be photos of our local town, wanders, woods and cheeky updates from us along the way as well as some lovely memories of my dad to be shared.

It would be awesome if you could join us in helping out by donating a little and every penny helps! It really doesn't have to be a lot as every pound goes a long way. Gofundme will be dealing with all funds so we can keep an eye on targets and make sure all the money raised heads straight to Marie Curie in the safest way possible.
