Each of us personally have had family and friends affected by the condition, which was a reason for us choosing to fundraise for this specific cause.

And to raise money for this cause, we will be walking 1000 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea, over the Pyrenees Mountain Range. Our trek will be through mountainous terrain in France and Spain from July 16th to September 21st roughly taking us 60 days. We will be camping most of the time and occasionally staying in mountain huts, that potentially could be semi derelict. We will also have to carry everything with us during the expedition such as our tents water and food and clothes. Certain parts of the walk will take us through areas which leads us to being isolated without human contact for up to 5 days.
