100 White Canes for the Blind
Tax deductible
Grayson Roberts was born with Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome, a genetic disorder that leads to glaucoma and blindness. At age 10, he is already an entrepreneur and world traveler. Last year, he started Limitless Lemonade, a lemonade stand in his front yard that went viral due to a few famous customers. Grayson used the money he raised to travel to the Great Wall of China with his mother this past April.
Since 2019, Grayson has been sharing his experiences and travels on his Instagram account. You can be part of his next big trip and help him make a difference in the lives of people who are blind and have low vision. Thanks to a grant from Flight for Sight, Grayson will be embarking on a trip to Ghana this October.
While there, Grayson, his mom Terica and his cousin Kennedy, will be posting about the resources available for the blind in Ghana and how they differ from the US. They will also be bringing white canes to donate to the Ghana Blind Union’s White Cane Project.
Donate today to help Grayson reach the goal of 100 white canes for Ghana. All donations will be used exclusively for purchasing new canes and covering shipping expenses.
We are thankful for our partnership with Ambutech. They will be donating canes and selling new canes at cost to help us reach 100 total!
