100K in May for North Devon Rabbit Rescue
Donation protected
We adopted our rabbit Buster from the North Devon Rabbit Rescue. He needed to be rehomed through no fault of his own, and his foster mum gave him a wonderful home while he waited to be adopted.
The North Devon Rabbit Rescue is a group of volunteers founded by a veterinary nurse with a special interest in rabbits. These animals make for wonderful pets but their needs are often misunderstood. The Rabbit Welfare Association estimates that since the pandemic, 100,000 rabbits are given up by their owners each year.
This local rescue is one of dozens across the country struggling to keep up with demand. I'll be walking, jogging, and cycling 100K in May to raise money for supplies, vital veterinary care, and the building of new enclosures to increase their capacity.
