100km in April for FirstLight
Donation protected
I have decided to run 100km in the month of April to raise money for a charity extremely close to my heart. I will post pictures of my progress daily on my Instagram account- megancorcoranx.
In 2004, my family lost my younger brother to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, more commonly known as Cot Death. Considering the situation we are all in right now, the fundraisers that were planned for FirstLight can no longer take place. FirstLight provide amazing services to families bereaved of a child up to 18 years, including home visits, counselling, support groups and other programmes to help families cope and to deal with their bereavements. The funds raised will allow those services and their 24/7 helpline to continue as usual.
I understand during this time people have lost their jobs and are out of work but even a donation of €5 would mean the world to me and to so many families who depend on the amazing work of FirstLight.
FirstLight were there for my family during our time of need and I want them to be able to be there for others during their time.
